Theatre
I love translating, writing, and directing theatre, and particularly the latter due to its unpredictability: you never know how your actors will surprise you and make you see a text you thought you knew inside out in new ways.
Most recently, I was a script editor for a new adaptation of Sophocles's 'Antigone' by Ferodo Bridges which premiered at the Park Theatre. Previously, I did a lot of directing. You can find an overview of the various projects I staged with my theatre company Ionian Productions here.

Screenwriting
I am the author of a screenplay based on my play 'Arseholes' (about Rimbaud and Verlaine's bawdy and tempestuous love affair) and two original tv series: a historical drama about the women of ancient Persia and a comedy-drama about the young Dante. The former was twice shortlisted for the C21 Media Drama Series Competition and the latter is in development with IdeaCinema.
Cartoons
I always have a lurking taste for the silly and the eccentric side of great artists and historical figures. This led to frequent cartoons during the years I wrote my thesis on Dante and Proust.
